Who is responsible for your information
Brawnd is responsible for the personal information it receives through brawnd.com and direct business enquiries. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and how you can exercise your privacy rights. Contact hello@brawnd.com about any aspect of this policy.
Information you share with us
When you enquire about a project, we receive the details you submit: your name, email address, company or website, service requirements, project description and budget, where provided. We also receive the information you include in emails, calls and other correspondence.
Required form fields allow us to identify your enquiry and respond. Optional fields help us understand the scope. Please share only information relevant to the conversation and do not include passwords, payment card details or personal information about others without authority.
Information collected when you visit
The website and its hosting services process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser details and error records to deliver the site and maintain its security. Our enquiry and AI features also use request counters associated with an IP address to limit automated or excessive submissions.
Browser storage supports page transitions and remembers whether the opening animation has played. The Cookie Policy explains these technologies and your controls.
The AI project consultant and voice input
The project consultant uses Google’s Gemini service to help answer questions about Brawnd. When an AI response is requested, your message and recent conversation context are sent to Google for processing. If you choose voice input and allow microphone access, your submitted recording is sent to Google to produce a transcript.
Voice recordings are handled temporarily for transcription and are not added to the website’s media library. Google’s handling of submitted content depends on the service terms and account configuration; those terms can permit use for service improvement and human review. Do not enter confidential business material, sensitive personal information or information you would not want processed by an external AI provider.
The consultant is optional. You can discuss your project directly with the Brawnd team by email or through the enquiry form. See Google’s Gemini API terms and Privacy Policy for its processing practices.
Why we use personal information
- Enquiries and proposals: to understand your requirements, answer questions and prepare an appropriate scope of work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence.
- Client services: to manage agreed work, communicate with project contacts and maintain engagement records. We rely on contractual necessity or, for representatives of a client organisation, our legitimate interest in managing that relationship.
- Site operation and security: to deliver website features, investigate faults and prevent misuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable service, subject to your rights.
- Legal requirements: to retain records or respond to lawful requests where a legal obligation applies.
- Consent: where required for a particular use, including nonessential tracking. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Who receives information
Enquiry forms send your submitted details to Brawnd’s email inbox. Hosting, email and AI providers process information needed to deliver their services. Team members, project collaborators and professional advisers may receive information relevant to their responsibilities. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.
Booking a call through Calendly or contacting us through WhatsApp takes you to a separate service. That provider’s privacy terms apply to information it collects. Service providers may process information outside Nigeria or your country of residence. International transfers remain subject to applicable data protection requirements, including appropriate safeguards or another permitted transfer basis.
Retention and security
We retain enquiry and correspondence records while they are needed to respond, manage the business relationship or address a dispute. Client and financial records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes. Security records and temporary request counters serve shorter operational purposes. Retention depends on the record’s purpose and any applicable legal requirement.
We use technical and organisational safeguards to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, request restrictions or obtain a portable copy. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions, including obligations to retain particular records.
Email hello@brawnd.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Describe the request and the email address or interaction it concerns. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
You can also raise a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another data protection authority with jurisdiction.
Children and policy updates
This website is intended for adult business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The date above identifies this version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of a material change.
