Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small records stored by your browser and sent back to the relevant website with later requests. Local storage and session storage keep information in the browser for website features. This policy covers those technologies on brawnd.com; the Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Storage used by the website
Brawnd’s page animations use session storage for two purposes:
- Opening animation: remembers that the introduction has already played, so it does not repeat throughout the same browsing session.
- Page transitions: briefly records a pending transition so the next page can complete the navigation effect. The next page reads and removes that record.
These records describe interface state, rather than your name, enquiry details or advertising interests. Session storage is normally cleared when the relevant tab or window closes, although browser session restoration can preserve it.
WordPress can also use cookies for authenticated users and administrative functions. Those uses are distinct from the session storage used for public page animations.
External services
Links to Calendly and WhatsApp open services operated by other organisations. Those services may use cookies and browser storage under their own policies when you visit them. Brawnd’s AI consultant processes submitted messages and voice recordings through Google; that processing is explained in the Privacy Policy and is separate from browser storage.
The presence of a link does not mean every technology used by the destination is active on brawnd.com.
Managing your choices
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject or change optional tracking. Analytics and marketing are separate choices and are off by default. Google Analytics, when configured, measures visits; Hostinger Reach provides optional onsite marketing features and tracking. Rejecting optional tracking leaves the website and enquiry tools available. Withdrawing a previously granted choice reloads the page to stop already loaded tracking scripts.
We store your choices, the notice version and the time of your decision in local storage under brawndConsentV1 for up to 180 days. This record is used to remember your privacy choices. We ask again when it expires or when the notice version changes. If your browser prevents us from saving a choice, optional tracking remains off.
You can review, remove or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Session storage may require clearing site data rather than cookies alone. Restricting storage can cause the opening animation to repeat or prevent page transitions from retaining their state.
Browser controls and microphone permissions are separate settings. Allowing voice input does not require you to accept unrelated tracking. You can revoke microphone access in your browser’s site permissions.
Nonessential tracking requires any consent prescribed by applicable law. This policy does not itself obtain that consent, and continued browsing is not a substitute for it.
